Not all triggered events are captured; sometimes videos or data is not available. Bendix cannot interpret why a severe event happened, we can explain what data / videos SafetyDirect has captured and how to interpret them. Bendix does not provide data for the purpose of accident reconstruction USE THE STANDARD DISCLAIMER HERE. Not all tractors can be connected to SafetyDirect, the team will clearly identify where hardware limitations exist. Many times, SafetyDirect hardware can be ordered directly from OEMs, but not always. Sometimes it may need to be added once the vehicles are in service. SafetyDirect uses smartriggers to reduce the number of videos recorded. These triggers are customizable by the fleet. SafetyDirect does not provide driver training services or automatic video classification. Currently, SafetyDirect videos may be color, black and white and with varying degrees of definition depending on the camera that is installed on the vehicle
